The core of Birchwood Center’s Level I Yoga Teacher Training is alignment based hatha yoga technique, teaching methodology, yoga philosophy and meditation. Our goal is to produce quality instructors who are creative in their teaching and committed to the practice and understanding of yoga as a way of life. Our renowned 200-hour and advanced yoga teacher trainings for aspiring yogis has graduated over one hundred talented yoga instructors since 2002.

Our seasoned faculty offers a diverse level of experience, with expertise in styles ranging from Prana Yoga, Vinyasa Yoga, Iyengar Yoga and Kripalu Yoga to Betsy Ceva’s own unique blend of Hatha Yoga, meditation, and Moving Mantras. All of our teachers emphasize correct alignment and safety in postures and encourage the integration yogic philosophy into daily life.
